A 'sweet heart brooch' from World War Two found in test pits above the camp site on The Green during Dig Devizes in the summer of 2013. This brooch still has the red enamel decoration on it, however these types of brooches came in a variety of colours. These brooches were once given by RAF servicemen to their 'sweet hearts' unfortunately this brooch was lost, perhaps by a someone attending the camp.
